  12. Re: Maximum tappered plugging tubes allowed in a heat exchanger

    The tapered plugged is of the order 20 % to the area of transfer, for example, if the area is 30 0 ft2, with 20 % overdesign, only 20 % fo tubes,must be tappered, if the area if tybe is 0.1413 ft2, nut=300/0,413=m2098 tubes, the maxime tubes mus be 420.
