If you are familiar with HYSYS, you may aware that HYSYS has XML Exchange capability. XML Exchange allow HYSYS user
* Transfer SINGLE stream or unit operation from one HYSYS file to another HYSYS file
* Import ALL stream or unit operation from one HYSYS file to another HYSYS file
Using this XML Exchange capability, you can create a simulation file compatible with any version of HYSYS.
The process is rather simple. The simple step is to save the HYSYS simulation file in XML (i.e. ABC.xml ) format instead of HSC (i.e. ABC.hsc) format. Once you save it in XML format, it can be read by any version (including older version) of HYSYS. So far HYSYS file created in HYSYS version 2006 and save in XML format file can be read by HYSYS version 2004 and HYSYS 3.2. Other experience is yet to be discovered and reported. Hopefully it will be helpful

in fact i take too much time to install Apsen one 2006.5 , during that i find out that part 7 is corrupt , so if some one has anther links please help me in that , and i will be very thank ful to help me .

Folks,
I deperately need some help please regarding HYSYS_3.2. I have installed, uninstalled and re-installed this version endless and cannot run it. I done the following.
1) Installed software in stand-alone mode. And during its installation I get the following error: "Required component missing. Please see the ReadMe File for further information.The application is unable to continue due to error 8000ffff"
2) After installation I copied and pasted "lsapiw32.dll" and "strgxi2.dll" to "Program Files\Common Files\Hyprotech\Shared" and "lservrc" to "Program Files\Hyprotech\HYSYS 3.2"
3) When launching the application is get the following error: "Hyprotech HYSYS. Plant Simulation Software has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience". On this it asks for a report to be sent to Microsoft.
Is there anyone who can kindly help me solve this problem or provide a later version of HYSYS which is tried and tested? Many thanks to you.
