    DMC plus is an dynamic matrix controller. it comes with the aspen manufacturin suite package , not in the engg suite. This DMC allows one to fine tune the manufacturing process ,provided certain models have to be developed. The model is developed from the number of step tests conducted from the process parameters and QC results. After the model has been developed it allows the process parameters to be tuned on its own. this tuning is continuous and it results in the greater control on the manufacturing process. all its matrix tuning are always based on lower manufacturing cost, higher quality and lower losses.

    Regarding the error, the HYSYS DMCplus controller requires DMCplus online (comes in Aspen Manufacturing suite) to be installed.
    After this need to set the process variables, independent variables in Hysys (CV/MV/FV)
    After this ccf, mdl files which are specific to DMC are to be kept in Aspentech\AConline\app\<Controllername> directory.Subsequently, loadDMCplus control button to be clicked from HYSYS to load the controller

    But I am currently getting an error with installation of aspen DMCplus 2006.5. Cumulative ----- might be required to resolve this
    If anyone has got aspen 2006.5 cumulative -----. pls share
