    Hi my friends from egpet... I have a realy easy question for some of you. Does it's necesary to do an flexibility analisys to a pipe system of 3 inch from a firetube boiler?, the steam have a pressure of 142 psi @ 354 F. The length of pipe is 560 ft. This is a new system, therefore I can't compare this with other existing system, however I think it's not necesary to do a formal flexibility analisys becouse the low pipe diameter and low pressure.

    I look forward to hearing from you, I am little newly in this subject.

    Dear raulelite,
    Carry out the piping flexibility analysis (quick check method) as per ASME B31.1, Para. 119.7 Flexibility Analysis, or you have to do full stress analysis by such a software.
