It means 24.0.1 is more unstable than 24.0.2.

The versions that are more unstable or that have bugs are 2X.0.0 because they run and hurry to deliver that version for the official launch with new upgrades. its better to use a 2X.1, 2, 3, 4, 5.... version preferably the lastest one before the next years version
