Hysys 3.1 / 3.2 Died in Year 2009?

This is so simple. You just have to change your computer's day when you start Hysys 3.2 (double clike on the clock's icon on the righthandside in the Window's toolbar) Whatever your choice as long as a date before 1/1/2010, the change immediately affects. When you finish working on Hysys return the real day if you want.

Dear friends,
I am using vista(32). But in spite of repeated trials, the license error continues. Further, the license file has a different name each time it is generated-why? I tried them raw as well as changing to lservrc(old name of license file) - but no use. Also, the file originally was in HYSYS folder not in the common files/hyprotech/shared folder, where only *.dll files were copied. Let somebody who has really done it, reply!!
Changing dates is a botheration.

I stucked at step no. 2.
file 2006 licgen.exe is giving message "Aspen2006 licgen exe has stopped working". I am using windows vista and hysys 3.2 and don't know the reason of failure of step 2.

I have the same problem, but I'm on XP and I modified the clock date (2005).
Cannot execute Aspen2006 licgen.

Dear Clay and Processor,
For me there was no problem with the licgen. It runs in a command window for "a long long time" and the end when your patience almost runs out to exit the program, says "congrats, click any key to exit". You may try to run the program with Admin login OR "Run with Admin rights".

I was able to run the program from my usb key and it worked without even touching the clock.

It works, you need to follow the steps in order, and wait like 10min for step2 to complete then copy and paste the lsc file where it says and youre done
