    CRUDE TANKS distance

    Need to get material to asses/define distance between crude tanks
    Can anyone help me ?

  3. You can find this in different Engineering standards, for instance in

    Exxon International Practice IP 9-1-1

    Spacing and Dikes for Storage Vessels and Tanks

    ( Can be found on this forum)

    Location and spacing of tanks for storing liquids which are unstable, or which have special safety or fire protection requirements.
    You must be aware that local (your country) legislation may have regulated that issue, and that legislation rules supersedes engineering standards.

    Also take into account that big dikes (extended surface) will increase the cost of your fire fighting system.
