Need ASPEN PIMS step by step tutorial, with few refinery related case studies. Anyone having please help and post a link.

for V7 search in Documents files foder
Try to Think such tutorial don.t exist for each example or go to training courses

i did looked at that sample problem, it does not have step by step instructions and so it is very difficult to learn how to set up the model, run and interpret the results.

What training courses you are mentioning ?

Hope someone with experience with PIMS can help me out.

thanks again, i appreciate it a lot for the time you have taken to answer.....atleast you have provided some sort of a starting point.....

i will try break my head over that and see if I can make some headway...and if you dont mind i shall come back with some intelligent questions then....

by the way i work with a basic engg co and design hydro-----ers & hydrotreaters, is there anything i can use ? for eg yeilds etc ?

yes s/o indicate your request.
for accuracy you must complete laboratory test for reaction --feedstock/catalyst,pressure temperature fresh hydrogen and gas recycle rate...
you need these tests for calibration

Hi all...can anybody provide the Aspen Orion (Petroleum Scheduler) Training manual...I don't have the software, otherwise I would have taken the same from software. Kindly please provide the training manual of Aspen Orion or the software. Thanks in advance....
