Hi I am a Project Engineer I have been working on a refinery project for the last 2 yrs, Actually I have to give the approval on the dwg submitted by vendor all the technical clarification has been done already now they have submitted the IFR dwgs for appoval in which (Oreientationof roof ,all the accessories have been shown) I want to know is there any code or reference Specification present regarding the approval of Inetrnal Floating Cover beside the code API 650 Appndix H.Can anyone help me out by giving any reference specification or code a sort of checklist in which all the parameter have been discussed that what should be a consultant take in account in order to give approval

Internal Floating Roof is generally proprietory arragement and to the best of my knowledge there is no Code which covers its design.

I think some details is given in the book: Guide to Storage Tanks and Equipment
by Bob Long, Bob Gardner
