Thread: Please help! Risk Assemsment: building overpressure & heat radiation

  1. Please help! Risk Assemsment: building overpressure & heat radiation

I have been asked to provide information in relation to some of the safety related studies that are being done by a third party contractor as a part of the Operations Safety Case for our project.

Can someone advise some common used values from practice for overpressure for buildings to withstand (i.e. What is intensity overpressure [in mbar] for common type of buildings in petrochemical plants). Or how to calculate?

Also, please advise what kind of fire protection data is required for buildings to withstand heat radiation? Please provide if you are experienced with these subjects

    Thank you in advance
    Saule
