    Dear all,

    I would like to estimate these reserves category namely; P10, P50, P90 by using decline curve analysis, can someone explain that to me please, thanks.

    Reserves Estimate by DCA
    If the oil rate trend can support more than one type of decline, the most conservative type (i.e. Exponential) will generally represent Proved Reserve (1P).
    Harmonic declines are used for 3P reserve estimate. (3P are Proved, Probable, & Possible reserves)
    2P reserves are average between exponential and harmonic decline. (2P are Proved and Probable reserve).
