    Question Spectacle Blind-Linear Indication in the Bolt Hole

    Please refer to the Attachment

    This is a spectacle Blind
    Linear indications occurred after drilling a hole in the web
    What type of welding Defect is this ? kindly educate me on what are the counter measures to prevent this
    what tests to be done to know this defect before drilling hole

    any of you dealt with this problem?
