I have a field which is under MI-WAG process for 30 plus years. The reservoir engineer uses a compositional simulator for the reservoir. Reservoir doesn't have a gas cap or an aquifer and has horizontal laterals drilled parallel to each other. At the end of field life the simulator outputs Bo values less than 1 in some parts of the reservoir model. I am trying to understand if this is completely wrong or it is possible because lean miscible gas injection is happening in the reservoir which is causing a stripping effect. Fundamentally Bo cannot be less than 1! Can someone share their insight on this subject. Thank you.
