As per API 650 Appendix P, The allowable nozzle loads shall be obtained only for nozzles at the shell within the liquid level and Tank dia shall be more than 33.6 m. In one of my project, the nozzle is located above liquid level. Please suggest how to find out allowable nozzle loads? whether WRC Method can be applied or some other methodology available.?
