hey everyone,
I'm searching for the book which would guide me through engineering process of contactless seal (labyrinth seals) for application with maximum rotation approx. 1300 rpm. Seal would be placet at diameter 350mm. The purpose of the seal is to defend against external impact of water, sand, mud and such. We don't need 100% defence, just to reduce wether impact as much as possible with contactless seals.

Does somebody have ESDU 09004 - Labyrinth seal flow. Maybe there is something interesting for us in it...
