Dears,

I would like to clarify one point regarding ASME B16.5 for pipe flanges and flanged fittings:

We have a shortage on 4" cl 2500 flange with jack srew, our schedule is very tight to run a new purchase order.

I want to confirm if it is acceptable to drill 2 holes on the ASME B16.5 and insert 2 bolts in order to allow the spreading of flange to remove the flow element for maintenance purpose.
