self priming pumsp

Dear all
I have worked for selection of pumps for a new project after select the required centrifugal pump and supplied it to the site, it was required from me to convert it to be suitable for auto start stop function, first idea was how to make it as a self priming pump?

Maybe a little more info is required to get a good answer. first self priming pumps have specific designs, second you can calculate the in sump control volume based on number of pumps, cycle time, start stop sequence, required flow, and from there use switch level controls which can be from floating type passing trough differential pressure sensors, ultrasonic even radar positioned on the defined levels in sump well tank or whatever.
