Lithology determination
sometimes, water or oil bearing shaly sand could look very much like if the formation is either limestone or dolomitic limestone (or even pure dolomite) with gas/light hydrocarbon bearing formation. How do you determine which is which using only well log?

please use different type cross plot and scatter plot to analyse lithology.

Use also PEF (1.8 to 2.5 for Sand, 3.15 for Dolomites and more than 5 for limestones) or if you have DT, use M-N Xplot
