Use of RTA and FMB in STOOIP estimation

Do you use of RTA typcurves and Flowing Material Balance to estimate STOOIP in your work? and if you do, how does it match with probabilistic / deterministic calculations from your geologist?

    Thank you!

Re: Use of RTA and FMB in STOOIP estimation

I've used RTA type curves and FMB. As any other analysis, it is accurate/reliable when appropriate data is used plus a judicious judgment of the interpreter. In summary, garbage in garbage out.
