Thread: Chemical Engineering/Pharmacy School

  1. Chemical Engineering/Pharmacy School

I'm thinking about going to pharmacy school after I get my Chemical Engineering degree, but I don't plan on going into research. I just want to distribute. Should I stick with chemical engineering or switch to something else? I'm just using the mentality that a ChemE degree will be more ideal to get a job if I don't actually get into pharmacy school.

  3. Re: Chemical Engineering/Pharmacy School

I have a MSc degree in Chemical Engineering. First I started in an engineering company with project in the oil and gas industry, but the last years I have worked more and more in projects which are food and pharma related. Of course I have had some courses in EHEDG design, all paid by my employer.

So I suggest to start working, if you can find a job, and learn about pharma engineering while working.
