anchor bolt for storage tank

dear friends,
I would like to know if there is a suggestion for fixing the anchor bolts of ring wall foundations in storage tanks, what is the procedure of installation, how can we assure the anchors to be fix during concrete pouring.

If you use wood formwork get the bolts in position by wood rectangular pieces drilled for the bolts diameter and nailed to the formwork edge. this drilled wood pieces should be located first by using a total station by the process of stakeout consult a topographic surveyor. the anchor bolts bottom also to be tied to the main reinforcement bars of the ring wall foundation by using steel wire that same used for the rebars. if you use another type of formwork you can use this picture to get your solution.

it is not that its not usual it all depends on engineering and design and of course the structure needs to define that a box or grouting or any other type of anchoring system. an altern procedure for the one described above is to use chemical anchor in conjunction with your anchor bolts like that of sika systems again pour the ring wall foundation structure make the total station stakeout to locate the drilled holes and place the anchor bolts within the chemical anchoring system ill recommend to make a test on site (at least one) of the chemical anchoring system cause these are very sensible to temperature humidity air velocities and others seek for local technical assistance from the chemical anchor provider to avoid any problem that could arise.
