does anyone know how to create user defined components in thermoflex by using visual basic or fortran?... I know how too create by excel but the speed is really terrible

well I know how to use LUA but currently we are seeking a way to create user-defined components which are based on independent VB or fortran codes.

You may need a licence for the component authoring tool if you are not able to invoke your VB or fortran codes from LUA script editor. I think it is possible to generate a shell code in LUA which will run VB or fortran source code as a black box, utilizing the generalized input and output parameter interfaces to LUA script tool.
