Can anyone post information on how fire extinguishers are rated to EN and NFPA standards.
Also I would appreciate if any fire engineering experts could advise me how they would write a specification for mobile and portable extinguishers on an oil production or refinary site, how to decide areas of coverage for example of a manifold on a desert based site with no clear physical boundaries.
I have a good understanding of most fixed fire detection and protection systems but have never needed to specify extinguishers in the past.
