Analogue Data Please Help...

Dear Guys

I am building a simulation model for a field in Kazakhstan and wondering if you any of you can provide me with some analogue data in terms of a typical well performance, decline, relative perm, etc... I would really appreciate your support.

It depends on which basin. Pre-Caspian basin, you can google for Tengiz field (a couple of AAPG papers can be available). In addition:

(1) There is a publication called: Oil and Gas Fields of Kazakhstan published by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources if you have some contacts in Kazakhstan.
(2) Alternatively you can ask your company to subscribe the data from C&C Reservoirs and they had extensive set of data (

on a pre-caspian you can get either Jurassic sands or pre-salt carbonates (e.g. Tengiz). sands are fluvial or marine, 10-100s mD, oil few cP. Carbonates fractured, high pressure and ~100degC, light oil ~500m3/m3 GOR (cannt rmember API) but less than 1cP.
other basins are also well developed.
best look at historic data
core may be off depth and not that good SCAL
check also Ulmishek, but mainly geology there
