Thread: MMSCFD/SCFM conversion

    Question MMSCFD/SCFM conversion

from this link (okay i know Wikipedia is not the most reliable source): en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_cubic_feet_per_minute, i understand that "standard temperature/pressure" is different depends on... location?

my question is, what is the "standard condition" commonly used in petroleum industry? i usually just use hysys for converting mass rate to mmscfd. is hysys okay enough?

please include source too if possible. many thanks.

The standard conditions (temperature and pressure) are 60 oF and 14.7 psia.
