fire water network

hi,
i need urgent help. one of my site development project, there is residential building, it has sprinkler and stand pipe class i. my doubt is potable and fire water compined net work system is acceptable by NFPA ? as for as my design is seperate network. but the client want combined network. pls anybody help me.

asking for a combined network is very poor approach just to save money. you are right potable and firewater system should be separate. firewater system is one of the safety critical systems which have specific requirement of reliability and availability.
Second way to convince the client is to present a cost and benefit analysis of against the client life/asset value saving philosophy or protocol.
