Merak Evaluation

Hello All,

I just new at this forum.In these days i assigned a job to evaluate Schlumberger Merak software.
Please anyone tell me what are all possible input data types(format)in merak software.

The input data types are Empirical or Standard International (SI)

Merak software is the industry standard for the economics modeling of the upstream oil and gas projects.It is the continuously used by over economics and engineers in gas companies the world.

Hi,

Can we use Merak Peep for Strategic planning (long term planning) of projects. Schlumberger have recently proposed that Merak Peep can be used for this purpose. I doubt on their proposal as I searched on the net that it only gives us petroleum economics (cash flows, NPV, IRR).

Please share your experience.
