Strauss, Vanderbilt University This CD-ROM contains the complete text of the 10th edition of the printed handbook!The disc also has some updated material on the environment, steel, friction, fluid film bearings, gears, air-conditioning, vibrations, robotics, composite materials, and pumps. The installation of the disc proceeded very efficiently!and was completed in a few minutes!One can magnify the text and figures by positive zooming!There is also an icon for many equations, which, when clicked, opens up a Mathcad window where calculations can be performed. A useful feature is the Adobe Acrobat Find feature for searching the entire handbook!Useful for graduate students faculty, researchers and professionals
