in order to design a development plan for an offshore field in a water depth (35 m ) , the metocean parameters should be considered ( waves, tides , currents , ..etc... )
if the currents velocity is appx. 2.3 knots = 1.2 m/s .. is it considered high or low ?
i considered it as one of the constraints but i dunno how does it affect our design?
what things should be taking into account and installed in order to avoid any damage might occur ?
