    Q: What are the softwares for explosion modelling?

    Hi, i'm actually new to the field. can i know what are the recent/ most used or good softwares for explosion modelling at offshore platform?

    I've known a few like PHAST, Shell's FRED etc.. but i'm not sure if there are any other better softwares in the market now. Please advise me.

    Phast, Fred & Cirrus are empirical tools good for screening purpose. For detail modelling can opt for CFD using FLACS.

    Well, for offshore explosion modeling CFD tools is the option with no alternatives. Most popular: FLACS for explosion, KFX for fire modelling.
