Process Safety Engineer, what do you think?

Dear all,
Currently, I have to choose the way for my career. I'm now an operation engineer of a refinery. My company dedicate me to follow a training course for the position of Process Safety Management Engineer. After this course, I may work in this position. But I don't know if should I transfer my job.
Could someone consult me something about this job and which promotion and benefits of this position?

Anything to do with safety & risk (process) can earn you big bucks.

I think you should follow the training course, It will improve your knowledge skill too about your work.
