ASTM Table 52 was replaced by API 11.5.3.

Old table 52 was to convert US BBLS @ 60ºF to M3 @ 15ºC and the inverse M3 @ 15ºC to BBLS @ 60ºF.
It was density dependent i.e. depending of density you had a factor and not product dependent.
Example: a hydrocarbon liquid with a density of 786 kg/m3 has a conversion factor of 6.293 - from M3 @ 15ºC to BBLS @ 60ºF.

By new API 11.5.3 we get:

bbls @ 60°F/m3 = Round(1 / (0.1589872949 * VCF15_5556), 0.000000001)

where VCF15_5556 is the TCL for an alternate temperature of 15.5556 ºC, as calculated from API 11.1 and is product dependent, i.e. for a crude oil use table 54A, for a gasoline 54B and for a lube oil use 54D - "new tables as per API 11.1".
