Ok
no one answers, let's see if I can motivate the audience
Let's see this simple base case in Aspen Energy Analyzer

Inlet T(ºC) Outlet T(ºC) Q(kW) HTC(W/m2ºC) STREAM
270 160 1980 500 1-hot
220 60 3520 500 2-hot
50 210 3200 500 3-cold
160 210 2500 500 4-cold

And i have utilities (HP steam and cold water)

250 249 ---- 2500 HP steam
15 20 ---- 1000 Cooling water

And choose 1 maximum split (to simplify) in recommend designs and chose 1 maximum design
Now try to solve.....you will see a warning: a stream exists with negative specific heat please check input data.
I think it is everything ok with input data... unless something is wrong with HTC, because if i run the same case with default HTC, the Aspen energy analyzer can generate the perfect HEN

Thanks
