dear all,
we discuss many things related to simulations, material balance, development planes,.....
i think it is also important to discuss economic evaluations.
i am reservoir engineer, and during all my work life i never involved in economic calculations as in my company there is economic experts so we perform the study and export the different scenarios rates to them to start evaluation.
i know economic evaluations is one of necessary skills to reservoir engineer soiam interested to learn it.
what i am looking for is three things:
1-simple (start levels) courses or pdf papers about petroleum economics.
2-one of economic experts start step by step learning us how to perform economic analysis.
3-merak peep software and its training courses.

Great post. I completly agree with you and supprot. I've got the same situation. I'm a reservoir engineer, but currently working in facilities, estimation and so on. I found the same issues as you. Would like to get a initial couse for economics and finance do improve my skills.
