A good forum, but to be great, I think administrators/ moderators should work harder to stop spamming. A lot of threats are full of "thank you", "thanks", "good" ... even if the threat is just a book request, this kind of replying consumes the forum resource, distracts members from focusing to the main purpose of the threat, and absolutely should be controlled by moderators/ administrators (Pls note that the forum has the "thank you" button).
I've gained a lot from egpet in terms of technical books/ papers. But in terms of professional knowledge sharing/ exchange, I think egpet should try harder. I hope some day, egpet will not only be a good place for ebooks/ papers sharing (i.e. similar to avaxhome.ws, gigapedia.com (this site is moving to library.nu)), but also becomes a good place for professional discussion such as cheresources or engtips).
