Discuss about horizontal drilling

Is it any relation between permeability & porosity reservoir to determine the effect during horizontal drilling ???

Could you please share books or papers regarding that matter.

yes , you have to know the permeability is the most important in this operation , reservoir rocks have two types of permeability (vertical and horizontal ) if vertical (k) greater than horizontal (k), you'll drill by horizontal method in these condition i'll call my professor to provide me about materials in this field .
