    Question Modeling LPG network pipeline

    Hi everyone!,

I'm new in the forum, I need your help please!.

I have to analyze the behavior to fluid in the pipeline network.

I have four source of flows, three of them pumped the flow in the pipeline as batch, some days yes pump some day not pump the flow. One of them pump everyday but change the volume pumped and composition of flow.

The flow pumped is propane or butane, in three of them. In one of them the flow pumped is a mixture to methane, ethane, propane, butane, pentane and hexane.

In the next image I explain to pipeline network, diameter, long, compound pumped.

I have programmed in visual basic of "excel" a macro when write volume and composition pumped the program estimated the time to arrived to Plant. My macro this vinculated with AspenHysys for separate the propane and butane.

The problem is: the behavior of flow is not mecanic, because part of flow evaporate in some zone to the pipe, temperature effect.

I need help to modeling this network pipeline system.

    Best Regards
