  1. Working Pressure Vs Schedule on Steel pipes

    Hi everyone,

Does anybody knows where can I find a relation between the working pressure of a pipe depending of the pipe schedule dimensions ?

On ASME B36.10 /19 I found the relation between dimensions, schedule and weight, but where can I find the WORKING PRESSURE????

    Hope someone can help me

    Thanks for your time!!

    Regards,
    Pau.

    OK ,

Here is the formula : Schedule Number = 1000 (P/S)

Where : P is the Design Pressure and S is maximum allowable Stress for pipe material based on ASME B31.3

I think you need to take the working pressure and safety margin both into consideration
