Davit arm design

I need information about davit arm design. Davit shall carry a 30" CL900 blind(~1800kg weight.)used as bolted cover for a vertical vessel. Any help(Company spesific designs, design guides, etc.) will be useful.

I was referring to your excel worksheet for davit design.

can you please elaborate how to arrived to 0.6Fy, as the book says to refer to Appendix L. which is a graph of (L/r) vs Fa.

u can not find 30'' dimensions but..for dwg's look at api 650 standard and finaly you use 50 mm diameter rod for david arm..
