XP service pack 3,Vista,Windows 7.

I have windows 7 only....

u have to uninstall SQL server,download from the link ,i have given in guidelines...install it in MIXED AUTHENDICATION MODE...thatsit.......

I have tested with,Vista 32 bit and Windows 7 32 bit system.not with 64 bit

if operating system is 64 bit,then also the installation is possible.

follow this steps.


1.uninstall SQL server from ur pC
2.download SQL server From the link i have given.Make sure that,u r downloading [B]64 bit SQL server [/B]from that webpage.
3.Install sQL server in MIXED AUTHENTICATION MODE.
4.Follow other installation procedures as such.
5.It should work....

did all of them... still didn't work...

perhaps it's because of my OS (vista 64 bit)? I noticed in several posts before that u tried it in vista, but the 32 bit one...
