I have heard that one of the problems with multiple photo-voltaic panels arranged in a grid is dust. The solar panel "farms" are usually situated in arid areas and the airborne dust reportedly settles of the panels, eventually reducing the efficiency significantly. Has someone had experience with this phenomenon and should one allow for a water supply to such installations to automatically or manually wash the panels?
