Is true that in ISO 1996:1971, there is a table like this? (Excluding legends in italian)

Where are planned correction factors, depending on the ratio between the length of time measurement and reporting period (day or night).

Does anyone know if it is true or not?

ISO 1996-1 first edition is from 1982
ISO 1996-2 first edition is from 1987
ISO 1996-3 first edition is from 1987

These are a technical revision of the original ISO 1996 from 1971, I doubt anyone has kept it.

My problem is this: if the table on post #23 was present on the ISO 1996:1971, however, would no longer be valid, since the rule has been replaced. is that correct?

I do not have the ISO Recommendation R 1996 (1971) so I ignore the context related to Table 5. By the way, I know no Italian and I am not familiar with acoustics. I just read your post #24 and reacted. I hope my comments will help you.

ISO Recommendation R 1996 (1971) has been canceled and replaced by ISO 1996 Part 1 (1982), Part 2 (1987) and Part 3 (1987) which constitute a technical revision. This information is stated in ISO 1996 Part 2 (1987) and Part 3 (1987), Foreword Section. You probably know about it.

I browsed those 3 documents and I could not find any mention to the information contained in Table 5. That is why, I believe, you are asking if it is no longer valid.

I tell you what I would if I were in your position. I would ask publicly to Forum member JuistMij to help me. He/she is a retired acoustician (see post # 16 in this thread).

Since he/she might have missed your post, I would suggest you to additionally send him/her a private message. A notification will pop up when logging in the Forum (he/she logged in today). Furthermore, he/she will receive a message in the associated email account.
