Problems with my Landmark 5000.1

Please I need your help to solve the following problems: I have installed on my windows 10 laptop Landmark 5000.1 which suddenly stopped working. I reinstalled it but now it would not work. When I click on the desktop shortcut for wellplan or compass* i get the following error:

windows cannot find 'WELLPLAN\bin\Wellplan.exe'. Make sure you've typed the name correctly* then try again. I get similar message when I attempt to run compass as well.

When I go to the installation folder* I will still find the executable file which windows cannot find. When I click on the executable file* the login page comes up for COMPASS but nothing happens when I click on the executable file for WELLPLAN* when I enter my user name and password and click on login (for COMPASS)* I get the message " Empty EDT_CLASSES_DIR environment variable." Please can someone help me with instructions on how to resolve these issues. It will be much appreciated. Thanks

you should run WELLPLAN.bat to start WellPlan.
and COMPASS.bat to start Compass.
