Oil-Water relative permeablity.....help
Could you please advise which the technic method is recommended to conduct core analysis to get more reliable results of oil-water relative permeablity:
Steady state in the reservoir condition or unsteady state in the reservoir condition.
the reservoir is calsstic and oil-water without gas
thank you in advance
Re: Oil-Water relative permeablity.....help
To get good result you have to do steady state experiment but it will take long time for experiment. Unsteady state is very quick method and output is OK.

Dear Dipak,
Thank you so much for your advise and your time.Sould the analysis be in the reservoir condition?
Re: Oil-Water relative permeablity.....help
It is strongly suggested to perform relperm tests at reservoir conditions (i.e. reservoir temp) to closely reproduce wettability conditions in the reservoir. Relperms at ambient vs reservoir conditions show important differences in residual oil saturation and oil recovery. Relperms at reservoir conditions are more expensive but should be done whenever possible.
