Blowdown depressurisation
Hello Friends,
Usually we use Aspen Hysys Depressuring Dynamics for Blowdown calculation but this results are very conservative and now days Imeral college Blowdown software or PSE Gflare is use for better results.
Here I am attaching the manual calculation if software in not available and just for general idea for Blowdown load.

as said in the thread the procedure may give large errors
and it is not applicable when liquid is present,
