Fire Zone Consideration For Finger Type Slug Catcher

Dear Friends,

I am working on Fire Relief PSV sizing for finger type slug catcher (plot area approx 30m x 60 m = 1800m2), to calculate wetted area for Fire relief PSV sizing, anyone please will share what pool fire zone area should be considered for this purpose.

Hi,
actually it depend to project code and standard that you must use for fire relief capacity. if API is applicable you dont need to consider ang pool fire since API defined the Q for fire relief calculation on wetted area.the high relief load and flare limitation is the main problem for slug catures.
