Simulation of Cyclic Steam Stimulation Process
Hello,
I am doing some work on cyclic steam stimulation. Can somebody tell me from where to make a start. Any good reading reference related to simulation study of this process? What parameters need to be sensitized and what should be the optimum workflow? Any help will be highly appreciated.

First we need to know how your system works. Second this system shall be modelated. Or you use a software (real time simulation)- Dynsim, Matlab, Ecosimpro, and may others that have libraries adequated to the field (Aspen, Aspo, gPROMS, .....). The simulation is more easy because you only need to tune the models and construct you model with the model libraries.
Books are many (try to search Google). If you need to create the models like in Matlab (without libraies - control, hidraulic, mechanical, electrical,...) you need to spend a lot because we need to know advanced mathematic (remember that in one system for create each model are diferential equations <> non-linear models).

I am afraid that with out experience in black oil models it will be hard for you to advance to steam injection,
since this process involved not only aspects of thermal transfer of energy transfer but also PVT related aspect related to steam behavior
So my advise would be - start with thermal blackoil option
