Cubic Plus Association model
I have been investigating applications of the Cubic Plus Association model,
there are two variants in Prode Properties,
one based on Soave Redlich Kwong and another on Peng Robinson,
these return similar results in VLE tests (mixtures of hydrocarbons+water),
unfortunately I have a limited number of interaction coefficients for water-hydrocarbons and I am not sure about the real power of these models.
Prode includes a data regression procedure able to regress VLE/LLE/SLE data points, that could permit to calculate the interaction coefficients but I have not the required experimental VLE data for hydrocarbons/water (of course I do not wish to estimate VLE with the UNIFAC option available in Properties),
my question is, does anyone have access to Dechema / GPSA experimental VLE data for water/hydrocarbons?
That would be very useful for all us working in natural gas industry.
Re: Cubic Plus Association model
Prode Properties version 1.19 includes some BIPs for CPA,
I utilize Cubic Plus Association mainly to model hydrocarbons + water and the included BIPs are a good starting point,
but I agree that best way is to regress from experimental data,
the sources which you mentioned (Dechema, DDB, GPA) have high quality VLE data for hydrocarbons + water,
unfortunatelly I do not know of a free distribution,
as alternative you may consider

it includes Water+C1 and some other hydrocarbons,
best luck,
