Dear Sir,
I read the various communications you had with many interested ones and therefore lured to shoot a question to you. I have worked throughout my carrer in Process Gas Reciprocating compressors for Oil and Gas,Refineries and Chemicals. How do you calculate the allowable nozzle loadings for a given size cylinders in Reciprocating Compressors for a given material such as grey cast iron or Nodular Cast Iron? Is there any reference books OR softwares available to work on this. Generally in Recip machines the cylinders are mounted with volume bottles and then connected to KODs or any other Chemical Equipments through process piping. Please educate me on this and would be grateful.
