Reservoir Simulation Methodology

Hello,
I am new to Simulation
I need to know what is the methodology for Reservoir Simulation?
e.g defining the grid , define the type of model , gathering the data etc etc....

I think there are already the similar thread about reservoir simulation. Perhaps you could search in this forum and download the book and other related information.
